Work Colleagues Experience

Malo Lava!!

Every day on the island averaged 31 degrees and although it rained daily, the rain would only last for about an hour or two and then the most glorious rainbows would emerge and the sunshine would return.

I have a great love for my Middle Eastern heritage and to experience Samoa first-hand only draws me in closer. My desire to speak Samoan and learn every bit of genealogy only increases. To learn the culture by being there day-to-day would have been such a memorable experience… Maybe in the next lifetime :-)

What a blessing to spend time with my work colleagues and some new Samoan Friends. I’m blessed to have such wonderful, generous & loving work family in Samoa. Not to forget that I recently learned about Chop-suey & rice… one of my most favourite Samoan meals..

Our CEO is such a character…. always so entertaining and he never misses a beat. His cleverness and sharp wit at his age only makes me wonder how quick-witted he was at my age! The way he looks after Digicel employees (better say Digi Family) is such an inspiration. He has spent a 10 years lifetime dedicated to Digicel organization and understanding that everyday is a day that cannot be taken for granted.

Being in Samoa and especially around my Digi family reminded me how family-oriented our culture is and it made me even more appreciative to be a part of such a devoted heritage. Not only were the CEO is such an amazing example, but even others from my colleagues were more examples of dedication and love thru. It was and it will be always an honour to spend time with all of them.
